DJ Herby Loftin

Herby has taken his DJ craft to the next level by offering amazing sets of mixing and scratching "LIVE" all genres of music from 80's, 90's and current music. He can mix it all and make it sound great!

Born and raised in Ravenna, Ohio, Herby Loftin has been active in just about everything from sports to music. After graduating from Ravenna High in 2003, he went on to play collegiate football at Thiel College. All his life he has been a leader and an over-achiever, always looking to do his best in everything!

Music has played a huge part throughout Herby's life; he has always been a few steps ahead when it comes to music knowledge. Before he got his start as a DJ, Herby would naturally find his way to the main source of music at any event he attended and start playing music for the crowd. Growing up listening to everything from Michael Jackson, Bob Marley, Prince, Madonna, Kenny Chesney and The Police to Jay-Z, Herby has a wide range of music to provide for any event.

Herby started DJing in 2007 in a nightclub in Akron, just playing songs off of a laptop...the response from the crowd was great! He soon turned this hobby into a career, DJing clubs, weddings, parties and any event that needed a DJ. He also took on the stage name of "DJ Smoov," and after years of practice and gigs he has become one of Ohio's most sought after DJs for all types of events. Recently, his recommendations have earned him jobs for celebrities and professional athletes.

After interning with Scott Jones, Herby decided to go full-speed ahead taking on more weddings and joining the great team of DJs here at Jerry Bruno Productions.
