Matt Gazdak

In 1988, a simple 5-line ad in the newspaper was looking for someone who loved music and was not afraid of being in front of large groups of people. After being "volunteered" at every party to "take over the music" and being told countless times that he had a voice for radio (or was that a face!?), Matt (DJ GAZ) decided to answer that ad. Hired on the spot, so began a career that has spanned 20 years and every type of event a disc jockey can work.

Growing up in Mayfield Village in a house jammed daily with music from all tastes and genres, the love of all types of music was imbedded at a very early age and has grown stronger every year since. As a matter of fact, not including family, the only thing stronger than his love of music is an addicting obsession with producing a packed dance floor. Matt likes to meet with clients to get a vision of how they want the night to go and then he acts as a type of 'stage manager' to make that vision come to life, keeping in mind at all times who his 'stars' are. With a personality that's stuck on the fun side of life, his musical taste is summed up in two words: "fun" and "danceable."
