Dan Murphy is a talented jazz pianist from the Akron/Cleveland area who not only plays beautiful solo piano, but is constantly performing with many top local artists. Dan has recently toured extensively in the U.S. and Japan with the World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra. The band travels 46-48 weeks a year mostly by bus performing an average of 250 shows annually. Also, Dan was selected to perform with the Disney Collegiate All-Star Band both in Orlando, FL (1999) and in Anaheim, CA (2000).

He holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from the University of Akron, and has worked as a pianist for Princess Cruises. Dan is currently performing and composing in the Northeastern Ohio region. He has a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from Youngstown State University where he teaches part-time.
